Meet our Veterinarians
Dr. Hallie Ray Moore
Dr. Hallie Ray Moore, a native Houstonian, graduated Cum Laude from Connecticut College with honors and distinction in the field of Psychology with a dance minor. After moving back home to Houston, she began working in the field of veterinary medicine and eventually applied to veterinary school. In 2003, she graduated from Texas A & M’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2007, she and her husband Tyler purchased Oak Forest Veterinary Clinic.
Professionally, Dr. Moore’s interests include Feline medicine, cardiology, and Senior care. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, and a lifetime member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She is also a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the American Heartworm Society.
Dr. Moore shares her life with her husband, Tyler. They have 2 beautiful children, Marion and Charlie, along with 4 legged kids, Goose and Knox. In her spare time, she volunteers at her children’s school. Outside of work, Dr. Moore enjoys reading, fishing, and doing puzzles. She volunteers on the Veterinary Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Houston. She is a member of Christ Church Cathedral. She supports groups which address the needs of homeless in our city.
Dr. Jenna Maddox
Dr. Jenna Maddox joined Oak Forest Veterinary Hospital in April 2015 from Katy Area Veterinary Medical Group. Dr. Maddox has also worked at several practices in her home state of Alabama. Dr. Maddox earned her Bachelor of Animal and Dairy Science (2001) and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (2005) from Auburn University.
Dr. Maddox shares her home with her husband and 2 fur-babies, Jake a Labrador and Coco a Boston/Frenchie mix. Dr. Maddox is especially fond of dentistry and soft tissue surgery. On her days off she enjoys reading, cooking and is an avid Auburn football fan. Dr. Maddox brings a tall glass of coolness to the practice. War Eagle!
Dr. Beverly Crocker
Dr. Beverly Crocker joined the Oak Forest Veterinary Hospital team in June of 2015, fresh out of Texas A&M's veterinary program where she graduated Cum Laude. She also completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at A&M. During her time at A&M she was a very active member of the community, serving with several organizations. She is a diehard Aggie fan. Dentistry, ophthalmology, and internal medicine are some of her favorite parts of veterinary medicine. She is originally from Dallas, TX, but is now enjoying the Houston lifestyle! When she's not at the clinic Dr. Crocker enjoys doing crossfit, exploring Houston, cooking and participating in anything outdoors. Dr. Crocker also is a pretty funny gal, and you may hear her giggling between appointments.
